Gallstones + sludge + puss = a big ol’ liver infection. Ew. ERCP was done today. Haven’t seen any docs from the GI team yet, but the sense we got from the respirologists is that he’ll be in Vancouver until Thursday at least. Hopefully by then the blood cultures will be back so that they know exactly what kind of infection they are dealing with and they can tailor the antibiotics accordingly.
Joey was also lucky enough to get a new PICC line inserted today. The old one finally gave up the ghost. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Not up to too much tonight. Stuffing Joey’s face with KFC and watching him nap. This is how most people our age spend their evenings, right?

Pretty much. We watched Transformers for the 700th time then walked up to my moms to see if the dog would poop. It was exhausting.
