Today I met with Mayor Robert Small in Amherst, Nova Scotia:

He and one of his councilmen gave me a couple of presents, including the Amherst flag pictured above. Oh how the tables have turned! It was good to meet with them and talk about organ donation. For those of you reading in Nova Scotia, you can register your wish to be an organ donor on your health card on renewal, or call MSI at 1-800-563-8880 to have a donor registration form mailed to you. Badda-bing, badda-boom.

After our meeting, I drove a lot, then took a little ferry, then drove a little more. When I say little ferry, I mean it. In addition to its tiny stature, this boat took about 2 minutes to get to the other side, and was decently priced at only $5.25 for car and driver. Take note BC ferries. Nova Scotia’s where it’s at!

Spent Thanksgiving visiting with the Donovan crew and watching trashy reality TV. I have a lot to be grateful for.
